Song Joong Ki is set to make a special guest appearance in the upcoming tvN drama “Queen of Tears,” expressing his support for his agency colleague, Kim Ji Won.
On February 23, Xportsnews revealed that Song Joong Ki has recently completed filming his cameo for the new drama “Queen of Tears.” Confirming the news, a representative from the drama stated, “Song Joong Ki will indeed be making a special appearance in ‘Queen of Tears.'”
Written by renowned writer Park Ji Eun, known for works like “Crash Landing on You,” “My Love From the Star,” and “The Producers,” “Queen of Tears” promises to narrate a miraculous, thrilling, and humorous love story of a married couple navigating crises and defying all odds to stay together.
Kim Soo Hyun takes on the role of Baek Hyeon Woo, the legal director of the Queens Group conglomerate, with Kim Ji Won portraying his wife, Hong Hae In, the chaebol heiress dubbed the “queen” of Queens Group’s department stores.
Song Joong Ki’s special appearance is reported to be a gesture of support for Kim Ji Won, with whom he had previously collaborated in the KBS2 drama “Descendants of the Sun” and the tvN drama “Arthdal Chronicles.” Moreover, both actors share the same agency, HighZium Studio, since 2022.
