Kim Ji Eun is set to headline the upcoming drama “Check in Hanyang,” as reported by Sportvision News.
‘Check in Hanyang’ revolves around four young individuals—three men and one woman—who come together at Yongcheonru, the largest guest house in Joseon. The series delves into their romantic journey, showcasing their growth, love, and challenges as they navigate the dynamic landscape of MZ youth during the Joseon Dynasty. It promises a blend of passionate romance, talent, political intrigue, and societal barriers.
The drama will be produced by WEMAD, known for their work on “The Red Sleeve.” Filming is slated to commence after completing pre-production, including finalizing the cast.
Kim Ji Eun will portray the lead female character, Hong Deok-soo, who conceals her identity and emotions while adopting a male guise to join Yongcheonroo. Joining her in the cast is Bae In-hyuk, who will play one of the male characters.
