Family Member of Accuser Speaks Out Against Alleged Abuse by Actor Song Ha-yoon

A recent controversy involving actor Song Ha-yoon has taken a new turn as a family member of an accuser has stepped forward to address the allegations of abuse. The user, who identified himself as the maternal uncle of the informant, expressed deep concern and frustration over the situation in a video posted on JTBC’s “Incident Captain” YouTube channel on April 5.

The user began by introducing himself as the uncle of the informant, referred to as Mr. B, who alleged being abused by Song Ha-yoon during their time in school. He shed light on Mr. B’s physical condition, mentioning that he had undergone major surgery as an infant, leading to a smaller physique. Despite this, Mr. B successfully graduated from college in the US and now holds a good job in LA.

The uncle shared his shock upon learning about the alleged abuse from his brother and expressed disappointment in how Song Ha-yoon’s agency, King Kong by Starship, handled the situation. He criticized the agency for not providing a satisfactory explanation for the violence and failing to offer a sincere apology. His emotions ran high as he voiced his concerns as a parent, stating that his “blood is boiling” over the matter.

The allegations against Song Ha-yoon surfaced during the airing of the program “Incident Captain”. Informant B, who said he went to the same high school as the actress, made waves when he claimed to have been slapped for an hour by Song Ha-yoon, who was a senior at the time, on the playground.

In response to the allegations, King Kong by Starship swiftly refuted the claims, labeling them as “factually false.” The agency also mentioned exploring legal options, including civil and criminal actions against the informant and seeking a broadcast ban injunction against JTBC’s “Incident Captain.”

The unfolding controversy has sparked debates regarding the handling of abuse allegations and the importance of addressing such claims with sensitivity and thorough investigation. As the situation continues to evolve, it remains a topic of significant public interest, prompting discussions about accountability, transparency, and the protection of individuals’ rights.
