XG, comprised of members Jurin, Chisa, Cocona, Hinata, Maya, Juria, and Harvey, unveiled the schedule for their much-anticipated first world tour, titled “The First HOWL,” on the 18th.
The group treated fans to a live broadcast on the same day, where an intriguing glitch on the screen was accompanied by the haunting sound of a wolf’s howl, revealing the tour’s locations and dates in true XG style.
According to the released images, XG’s tour will kick off in Japan with performances in Osaka on May 18 and 19, followed by Yokohama on May 25 and 26. The tour will then extend to various Asian countries and regions, including Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Singapore, and Taipei. Fans in North America can catch XG’s performances in October, while the group will head to Europe and other regions in November.
Symbolized by the wolf motif, a tribute to their dedicated fan club ALPHAZ, this world tour signifies XG’s global outreach, initiating a collective “howl” across continents. In a statement, XG expressed their excitement, stating, “We’ve named our world tour ‘The First HOWL’ as we’re eager to meet and create unforgettable memories with fans worldwide for the first time. Stay tuned for additional tour stops beyond the announced countries!”
XG’s immense popularity has been evident, with a staggering 200,000 ticket applications for their “NEW DNA” SHOWCASE in Japan last November. Moreover, XG has soared to the top of the U.S. Billboard Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter chart, secured a spot on Rolling Stone’s “Top 100 Best Songs of 2023,” and graced major global festivals in the U.S., Japan, and China, solidifying their status as a globally renowned group.
